Payroll Administrator

Job Title:        Payroll Administrator

Hours:            36.25 per week

Salary:            National Minimum Wage

We have a great opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to be working within a busy but friendly Payroll Bureau located at Cheshire Oaks Business Park, Ellesmere Port. You will be required to deal with various administration duties and to assist the team with their queries as required. Previous experience not essential but would be an advantage, this would be a good first step into a payroll environment.

 Duties will include:-

  • Dealing with correspondence from clients
  • Taking telephone calls and dealing with queries from clients and third parties
  • Responsible for updating spreadsheets and schedules
  • Pension Administration
  • Filing, photocopying and archiving
  • Processing basic payrolls as required

In addition the candidate must have the following skills:

  • Good oral and written communication
  • Very good attention to detail
  • Good team player.
  • Excel and Word knowledge would be an advantage.
