Morris & Co chartered accountants based on the Cheshire Oaks Business Park in Ellesmere Port, are pleased to welcome Michelle Anthony, who recently joined the firm as a manager. Michelle’s role at Morris & Co is wide and varied but she will mainly be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of clients along with contributing towards the firm’s day to day operations.

Michelle is ACCA qualified and has a degree in accounting and finance from the University of London. She has been in general practice for more than 10 years and is a familiar face within the business communities in Cheshire, Liverpool and Warrington.

Michelle specialises in acting for restaurant owners and caterers. Michelle developed an in depth knowledge in this industry partly due to her interests in food. Michelle’s husband is a professional chef and works for a top hotel in Chester. Michelle prides herself to be her husband’s best supporter and worst critic. Apart from being able to tell the difference between a hollandaise sauce and a Bearnaise blindfolded, Michelle can really walk the walk when it comes to food preparation as she helped her husband operate a café for a number of years in Chester City Centre.

Having been personally involved in the running of a catering establishment, Michelle genuinely understands the obstacles and concerns operators in this industry are faced with. Michelle is determined to use her knowledge and experience in the industry and share them with clients and contacts. Michelle has worked hard in the past few months developing a dedicated team at Morris & Co and we now offer specialist accounting and business advice for the restaurants and catering industry.
