What information should appear on documents?

"A registered Charity"

"Registered Charity No. XXXX"

"Registered as a Charity"

"Registered with the Charity Commissioners"

All of the above are acceptable. But if your Charity's income was more than £10,000 in the last financial year don't forget to include the above statement on all documents issued by or on behalf of the charity, including:

  • Website
  • Advertisements
  • Cheques
  • Orders for Money
  • Goods or services
  • Endorsements
  • Bills issued by the Charity
  • Invoices
  • Receipts
  • Letters of credit
  • Emails
