Book Review - Taxation Aspects for DentistsThis book has recently been published by M B Khatri and is available from : - P K A Books Limited Tel / Fax : 0116 271 7010 Morris & Co were asked to write the foreword to this book, and this appears below : - "In my experience of the profession, Dentists fall into two distinct categories. Firstly those who have no interest whatsoever in taxation (other than the amount of tax they have to pay at the end of each January and July!), and for whom this book will hold no appeal. Secondly those dentists who take an intimate interest in their tax affairs, as a result of either an excess of overative grey cells, or because they are not taxed (sic) sufficiently by their day to day work. For some reason there are very few who fall between these two poles." "I commend this book wholeheartedly to those dentists who wish to obtain a greater understanding of their tax affairs. It gives both employed dentists working in hospitals and in the community dental service etc, sufficient information to be able to understand most aspects of schedule E tax as it affects them and it also gives dentists in practice who are self employed, be they Principals or Associates a good grounding in the way their own tax is calculated and dealt with. This will prepare them for more in depth discussions with their accountants." Nick Ledingham BSc (Hons) FCA Tel : - 01244 328301 |
