Directors and staff of Morris & Co switched Chester House for Inglewood Manor to enjoy a fun-filled team building afternoon.
Following lunch and an office meeting, all participants were split into seven departmental groups to complete different activities located around the site, all of which tested the fundamental skills required for successful teamwork.
From memory games to water filling races, each activity encouraged communication, co-operation and collaboration in a fun and enjoyable manner. Teams were marked on how well they completed each task by eagle-eyed judges, who also kept a look out for any outstanding individual displays.
Despite the occasional downpour followed in typical British fashion by blazing sunshine, all teams swapped waterproofs for sun cream and trudged through to give their best shot at each station.
Once all teams had completed each activity and the final marks were gathered, it was announced there was a tie for first prize between the Partners/Associates and Tax, IT & Marketing.
To choose which team took the acclaim of Morris & Co’s most efficient team a skipping race was called, so two hopeful hoppers from both groups were nominated to compete in a head-to-head decider.
In a hotly anticipated contest on the lawn of the manor, Partner Bill and Associate Colin proved no match for Network Administrator Pete and Tax Assistant Joe, who bounded their way to victory, winning a lunch out for their team.
To finish, the more co-ordinated staff members competed in a juggling contest, won by Associate Martin.
Thank you to Mandy and Meg whose organisational work ensured the day ran smoothly and enjoyably.
